Just ahead of next week’s release of Presto, the band released the studio version of High as Five last night! Check it out below. Personally, I think this is my favorite of the new recordings I’ve heard so far, and I’m really looking forward to hearing the whole album!
Pigeons has just announced a bunch of shows in support of their upcoming album, Presto. Tickets for these sales will go on sale this Friday (1/17) at 10AM, with a PPPPre-Sale happening from Wednesdsay 1/15 at 10AM to Thursday 1/16 at 10PM (PPPPre-Sale password is ‘PRESTO’).
The band just revealed the back cover of their upcoming album, Presto, which also includes the track list! I wouldn’t say I’m surprised at any of the songs being on the album, but I am a little surprised about some of the songs that weren’t on there (like Water and Paperboy). If you can’t see the image, click Read More for the full track list!
Presto is dropping on January 24, you can pre-save it here.
The first Flock Talk of 2020, Episode 56 has just been posted. This week, Brad and Thomas review the big New Year’s run, including their thoughts on this year’s theme. They also preview what’s in store for Pigeons in 2020, speculate on shows yet to be announced, and take some guesses at Presto’s track list.
Just in time for the New Year’s run, Brad and Thomas have just release Episode 55 of Flock Talk. They preview the “The Electric Kool-Aid Asheville Test” run in Asheville, and talk about the big steps Pigeons has taken this year. Next is a big Flock Talk recap of everything that happened in 2019 from the best jams and sit-ins to breakout songs. They highlight their favorite moments of the year, and finish looking forward to what 2020 will bring.
Apologies for not posting earlier, but Flock Talk Episode 54 was posted on Friday. Brad and Thomas begin with appreciation of the Globe Hall soundboard being released, and then go on to recap last weekend’s shows in DC. They also preview the shows in Buffalo, and start getting ready for the Flock Talk 2019 Hall of Fame playlist. In the meantime, check out the Flock Talk Hall of Fame 2018 playlist on nugs (subscription required).
