Established by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Dawn A New Day Foundation provides the band and their ever-growing community with the opportunity to make positive change in the world. By donating $1 per PPPP ticket sales in 2020, and through fan donations and a variety of fundraising efforts, Dawn A New Day Foundation aims to raise funds and awareness for charitable organizations that are important to the band and the community that supports them. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s first official partner is Backline, the music industry’s new hub for mental health and wellness resources.
The website also has this quote from Greg that explains their goals:
“The mission of our music is to radiate positivity and spread joy, which is what Dawn A New Day Foundation is all about. We hope to channel that warm and fuzzy feeling and build toward a brighter future with the help of The Flock. There’s nothing more rewarding than radiating the kind of positivity you want to see in the world and then watching it ripple beyond you.”
We here at flockers are excited about the launch of this, and look forward to doing what we can to help further the band’s mission!
Episode 51 of the Flock Talk podcast just dropped, and it’s a big one! In this episode, Brad and Thomas discuss the Halloween run, the Midwest shows, and a Denver preview. Since the recent shows aren’t up on Nugs yet, this episode features a bunch of reviews from flockers, so make sure you check it out!
Congrats to Brad and Thomas for releasing the 50th episode of our favorite podcast, Flock Talk! This week, they recap the Hulaween set and preview the “Stop Making Cake” Halloween run. Later they give their over/under on Fall Tour sell outs, and finish up with a look at next week’s shows in the Midwest.
Once again, congrats to our friends, and thanks for 50 great episodes (and als thanks for giving me something to post about regularly)!
Flock Talk Episode 49 is now available! This week, Brad and Thomas preview Pigeons’ set at Hulaween (and talk about past shows at Suwanee). They also discuss the upcoming Halloween run, talk about the newly-released King Kong single and video, and look back at the Boulder shows from last year.
Episode 48 of Flock Talk came out yesterday. This week, Brad and Thomas bring you a BIG recap of the Fall Tour opening in Philly (featuring a review/recap of the weekend by me!). They discuss the use of intro jams, the 4-song second set at the Filmore, and their opinions on the Halloween theme (and much more).
